Supporting Angelina County Students Since 2016

Mike Love & Associates, LLC is proud to continue supporting local students through the Mike Love High Five Scholarship, an annual program that helps Angelina County high school seniors take the next step toward higher education.

Established in 2016, this scholarship reflects our firm’s ongoing commitment to supporting students and investing in the future of East Texas communities. Each year, graduating seniors from high schools across Angelina County are invited to apply by submitting a personal essay and scholarship application. From those applicants, five students are selected annually to receive a $1,000 scholarship to assist with the initial costs of starting college.

Scholarship recipients are selected based on their applications, personal essays, accomplishments, community involvement, leadership, and commitment to their future educational goals.

How the Scholarship Works

Students apply by submitting a personal essay, which is reviewed to identify individuals who demonstrate ambition, character, leadership, and a strong commitment to their future education.

The scholarship funds are intended to help cover early college expenses, including:

Books and supplies
Housing deposits
Tuition-related costs
Other educational expenses associated with beginning college
